DISCOVER THE SPIRIT OF MANA

The difference between a good tequila and a great one is the spirit it’s made with. That’s why we make every bottle of Teremana with the spirit of Mana.

DISCOVER THE TEREMANA PROCESS

We put the spirit of Mana in every step of our small-batch process. We use 100% Blue Weber Agave, slow roasted in small, traditional brick ovens and distilled in handmade copper pot stills. The result is a smoother, richer tequila that you can taste. That’s the Teremana difference.

DISCOVER THE PEOPLE BEHIND TEREMANA

OUR TEREMANA PROCESS

Teremana is crafted in the small Mexican town of Jesús María. We use only fully mature 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, as the iron-rich volcanic soil found there is ideal for growing agave with higher natural sugar content. Once fully mature, the agave plants are harvested by the skilled hands of our jimadores, who have honed their craft over generations.

OUR TEREMANA PROCESS -
IT'S AS EASY AS ABC

Teremana is crafted in the small Mexican town of Jesús María. We use only fully mature 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, as the iron-rich volcanic soil found there is ideal for growing agave with higher natural sugar content. Once fully mature, the agave plants are harvested by the skilled hands of our jimadores, who have honed their craft over generations.

Once harvested, the piñas—or hearts of the agave—are slow roasted in small, traditional brick ovens for three days at low temperatures, which helps to soften the agave fibers and increase the amount of natural sugars available for extraction. After roasting, the agave piñas are then shredded to extract the juice for fermentation.

After our open tank fermentation process, Teremana is then double distilled using handmade 100% copper pot stills, crafted by local artisans. The use of copper pot stills not only honors the traditional tequila making process but also produces a smoother tequila.

Teremana in the press

It’s a smooth, easy to drink option; with the rich aroma of mature agave plants, and a clean finish.

Teremana eschews the celebrity norm with a very pure expression of agave, and nothing in the way of added sweet flavors.

Teremana’s Tequila Añejo is arguably the best tequila I’ve ever tasted.
