Chef Puttie’s WORLD FAMOUS Guacamole

3 Haas Avocados, halved, seeded & scooped

3 Limes, juiced (2 if they’re really juicy)

1/2 c Fresh Cilantro 

1/2 c Red Onion, finely diced, loosely packed

1 Vine-Ripened Tomato

4 tbsp Jalapeños, seeded & finely diced

1/2 tsp Cumin

3/4 tsp Sea Salt

1 tsp EVOO, optional (heightens aesthetic)


  • In a large bowl, add scooped avocado and lime juice.
  • Use a pestle to smash avocado. (A whisk also works well.) 
  • Once completely smashed, add cilantro, red onion, & jalapeños.
  • Mix well, then add salt and cumin.
  • Lastly, throw in tomatoes, mixing lightly.
  • Optional to add Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The oil gives the guacamole a gloss. 
  • Let sit at room temperature for an hour, then serve.
